The Office of Housing & Residence Life employs nearly 100 students
Fall 2022 Housing & Residence Life Staff excited for the new year ahead.
Housing Positions
Housing & Residence Life is the second largest employer of students on campus. We employ 60+ Resident Assistants and dozens of Student Desk Assistants each Fall and Spring. During the Summer, we employ a variety of Student Assistants to aid residents, camps and conferences, and orientation. The hiring process starts with information sessions in late Fall and early Spring for positions the coming Fall. These sessions cover the position description, compensation for the positions, hiring process, and the training time tables.
Housing employees student for several types of positions that require varying skills levels and expectations.
Step 1- Attend an Information Session (new LLC RA, RA, and SDA)
Step 2- Apply for the position/positions you are interested in (can be multiple)
Step 3- Attend the Group Interview Day (All New Applicants)
Step 4- Participate in the individual interview process
Step 5- If selected, accept an offer for employment
Step 6- Complete required new hire paperwork
Step 7- Attend all training
Information Sessions
Information Sessions are required for all new staff to attend before being interviewed. The application link will be provided in the information session.
Tuesday, October 25th: 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm
Wednesday, November 16th: 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm
Friday, November 18th: 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Thursday, January 12th: 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Monday, February 6th: 10:00 am to 11:00 am
All sessions take place in the President's Hall Multipurpose Room.
Interview Days
Group Interview Day: Saturday, February 18th
Individual Interview Days: Monday, February 20th and Tuesday, February 21st
