Parker Dewey的基于项目的经验

Project-based experiences (also known as micro-实习生hips) with Parker Dewey are short-term projects (5-40 hours or more) that help students build connections, 获得经验, 发展新技能. These experiences complement existing 实习生hip and campus recruiting programs by providing opportunities to engage prospective candidates year-round while lowering the costs associated with onboarding a new hire. Please review the information below to learn more about micro-实习生hips.


Micro-实习常见问题

Parker Dewey LLC is a consulting firm that helps companies more effectively complete tasks and improve hiring. They do this by contracting with college students and recent graduates who want to work on short-term, professional projects so they can generate income while demonstrating capabilities and gaining practical experience.

Micro-实习生hips are short-term projects (5-40 hours or more) conducted remotely or in person, 独立或与团队合作, 建立联系, 积累经验,发展新技能. These are opportunities posted by companies and organizations across the United States that partner with Parker Dewey LLC.

UWF refers to these short-term professional assignments as project-based experiences instead of micro-实习生hips since academic credit is not currently available through participation.

UWF does not term these experiences as “micro-实习生hips” because students cannot earn credit for an experience at this time. Also, the definition of 实习生hips at UWF depends on the department. Therefore, UWF terms these experiences as project-based experiences.

Students participating in these experiences are not employees, 承包商, 实习生, 或任何公司/组织的临时工, 学生也不被认为是自由职业者. Similar to working with a consulting firm or any other service provider, companies/organizations are engaging Parker Dewey LLC to complete the assignment, and each individual student they select is a contractor or employee of Parker Dewey. Companies/organizations can still directly interact with the student(s) for the project and always have the opportunity to hire students directly without any costs or fees.

While most projects involve public-facing information of a non-sensitive nature, both Parker Dewey and all students sign strict NDAs to protect company/organization information. 除标准规定外, the students understand that they are risking their academic transcript or expulsion for any violation of confidentiality.

Career Launchers is the term used by Parker Dewey to identify student and alumni applicants.

Upon completion of the experience, the company has the opportunity to provide feedback.   • Will be able to break down complex tasks/problems into manageable pieces.
